What You Need
2 lb. Sirloin Steak tips, cut to 1-1¼ inch pieces, if necessary
1 cup soy sauce
½ cup red wine vinegar
1 cup ketchup
½ cup brown sugar
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
½ tsp. chili powder
4 Tbsp. Olive oil
2 green peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces.
½ fresh mushrooms, cut in half
1 small sweet onion, cut into 1-inch chunks
8-10 kabob skewers
Make It
- Combine soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, chili powder and olive oil in a bowl
- Place steak tip in marinade and toss thoroughly
- Let sit for at least three hours
- Preheat grill on medium heat
- Remove steak from marinade and pat dry
- Discard marinade. Assemble kabobs by threading meat and veggies alternately on to skewers
- Grill kabobs for 10-12 min until meat is done (160 degrees), turning occasionally
